Biography

Wayne Davis is the youngest son of the late Bethel and Sarah Davis. From an early age, he was deeply rooted in faith and community; regularly attending church and participating in various youth activities. During his childhood, he played Little League baseball and served as a Boy Scout, building the foundation for his lifelong commitment to leadership and service.

Wayne is a proud graduate of Williamsburg-Blakely High School, Class of 1986. He began his professional career at Wellman Industries in Johnsonville, SC, where he worked for eight years before joining Trebol LLC in Andrews, SC. With 31 years of dedicated service at Trebol, Wayne currently serves as Production Supervisor.

In 2005, Wayne attended Personal Touch Career Center in Kingstree, SC, earning his barbering license. In his spare time, he continues to help operate the family farm, demonstrating his commitment to both tradition and community.

Wayne is married to the lovely Elethia H. Davis, and together they have three amazing children—Waynesha, Dawayne, and Felicia—and two beautiful grandchildren, Wynter and Kamyah, who are his heart and soul.

An active member of St. John A.M.E. Church in Morrisville, Wayne has served faithfully for over twenty years as Trustee Pro Tem. His other roles include Class Leader, Usher Board Member, Male Choir President, and service on numerous committees such as Renovations, Helping Hand, Lay Organization, Young People Department (Advisor), Sons of Allen (President), Youth Ministry Teacher, and Scholarship Committee.

He is also active beyond the church walls, contributing to organizations such as the Men’s Privation Club, Lewis Outreach Center, and Nesmith & Morrisville Concerned Citizens. Wayne believes that leadership is not about title, tenure, or position—it is about impact, influence, and inspiration. His guiding scripture comes from Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path.”

Wayne enjoys singing, hosting events, hunting, riding his motorcycle, grilling, and above all, living his life for the Lord.
